We are pleased to say that we now have the finest selection and quality of strings available for pedal steel. We are also adding Dobro strings to our string line. We have string sets for every taste and need!

The Steel Mill Plain strings are Stress Tested and designed for pedal steel to reduce breakage and we put two .011R Plains in our E9 and E9/B6 sets. Our Nickel Round Wound strings consist of a Nickel-plated covering over a Swedish hex core that is hard tempered. The Stainless Steel Round Wound strings are #430 stainless alloy wrapped over a hard tempered hex core for brilliance and long life.

A great breakthrough in strings is our new "Silent Wound Series" Strings. Both the Nickel Wound and Stainless Wound strings are manufactured using an Inverse String Winding process that compresses the outer most part of the cover. This leaves the internal portion of the string intact while maintaining the brilliance of the Round Wound string yet giving us the benefit of a semi-flat string.

We now add "Silent Wound Series" Dobro strings to our line of strings. The Dobro strings are an 80/20 Golden Bronze alloy using the same Inverse String Winding Process giving us the finest Dobro Strings available.
