Boss has come out with the next generation of delay and reverb pedals, which have
great application for steel, the DD-6 Digital Delay and the RV-5 Digital Reverb.
Both pedals have stereo input and output for true stereo applications as well as
mono applications.
Boss - DD6 Digital Delay
Features: Effect Level-Feedback-Delay Time-Mode. Additional features include Reverse:
which the sound is played back in reverse. Hold: up to 5.2 seconds of Performance
content is recorded then played back repeatedly, a great overdubbing feature. Warp:
as the pedal is depressed, the amount of feedback and effect level increase above
the levels determined by the knob settings. Set Tempo (Tempo Delay) allows you to
set the delay time to match the tempo of the song being played. You can also change
the delay time as you are playing. Using tempo input, the delay time can be set
within a range of 0.2-2.6 seconds. The owners manual is clear and understandable
plus it offers a number of suggestions settings to achieve different results.

Boss - RV 5 Digital Reverb
Features: Effects Level-Tone-Time-Mode. The Mode function allows you to choose
from Spring reverb, Plate reverb, Hall reverb, Gate reverb and Room reverb. Plus
it has a Modulate position Which will allow you to get a Chorus effect. The owner’s
manual is clearly written and offers some examples of settings.
